Design Tip of the Week (7.20.09): It's All In The Details

Whether you are planning a big event or an intimate suare at your house, the details are always what makes an event one to remember. Talce Morales, event planner in Santa Domingo, designs large scale events that maintain a personal charm through her attention to detail. See how she made a special day (for this P4Der), just perfect.

Flowers and greenery bring it all together. More is not necessarily better. Simple and elegant arrangements make just as profound a statement. Mix it up and use different sized and shaped vases.

Unique napkin rings can add a special touch to your tablescapes. Note: Cloth napkins are always a nice touch and that small detail doesn't go unnoticed!

If you have a water feature or a pool, float lotus flowers. They are beautiful, simple and elegant.

Come up with a fun way to personalize your event or make the event more personal to your guests with interesting place markers.

Finally, you don't always need to decorate your event to create a masterpiece, your guests can step up the look too. Have a dress code, as seen below, all the guests are wearing white. It's great for pictures and the overall a look and feel of the party.

A big congratulations to our newly engaged P4Der...Miss Page.
